Get to KNOW shelbey

Shelbey is from northeast Texas but has spent the last 6 years in Waco. She is a two-time graduate of Baylor University’s Diana R. Garland School of Social Work where she received her BSW in May 2021 and MSW in May 2022. While at Baylor, Shelbey was the clinical social work intern at The Cove and after graduation started as a full time Youth Advocate for The Cove. Shelbey also has experience in school social work and child welfare settings. Through these experiences, Shelbey found her passion and drive for serving others. When not at work, Shelbey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as reading and being outside.
