We are currently looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers for the spring 2024 semester.
What does volunteering at The Cove involve?
Cove volunteers are a vital part of our afterschool and daytime (during holidays) programming. Key tasks include:
Be kind to our youth, helping them participate fully in the program
Provide alternative opportunities for youth to engage in educational or nurturing activities
Support with practical tasks such as cleaning, serving food, and sorting donations
What is the commitment as a volunteer?
One evening/day per week on Monday - Thursday, from 5pm - 8pm
Volunteers sign-up for a semester at a time (Fall and Spring) or through the summer break
Who can volunteer?
Must be able to attend the scheduled evenings for the semester
Volunteers must be at least 21-years of age
Volunteers must successfully clear a background check (details provided at your tour of The Cove)
We would love to hear from potential volunteers who are bilingual, speak ASL, or have training in other forms of communication
Volunteer application process
1. Submit a volunteer application using the button below.
2. A member of The Cove team will contact you to initiate a volunteer interview and tour of The Cove.
3. Upon completion of volunteer interview, there will be a background check. Once your background check is completed and cleared, you will receive virtual volunteer training.
4. Begin serving at The Cove!
