My name is Xaiver Chikwe and was born and raised in the big city of Waco, TX. I attended Waco High School where I graduated in 2004. I moved to Austin in 2013-2017 to do some IT work but moved back to Waco to be closer to my son. I transitioned to working in education in which I taught credit recovery at Premier High School for at-risk students. From there, I was able to work with more youth at the Bill Logue Juvenile Justice Center where I was able to offer rehabilitative opportunities that were in best interest for the juvenile. I gained experience substituting and working as a Behavior Specialist in multiple schools throughout WISD. A fundamental element that I learned and carry with me while working at Premier High School was to provide hope. My passion is working with diverse learners of all ages and different backgrounds. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I love having a good time, creating memories, enjoying life, and “taking it one day at a time.
